Basically as I had already explained to you about the role of Hero in your picture, so in headshots we have to keep our hero (subject) on the lines of Rule of Thirds. Although every part of Human body is important but Eyes are considered to be the most important part of Human body. You can see lot of pictures and paintings where all the emphasis is put on the Eyes. It is said that “The eyes are the window to the soul”, there are many psychological reasons why we consider eyes to be the most important part of Human body but we will not go in that details in this post. So our hero in close Headshots are eyes and rest of the things are just to compliment eyes. I always say Art created with the help of rules is not an Art but to create a masterpiece without rules first you have to master the rules then you have to find the way to break rules. I think these 20 examples will be enough to clarify this topic but still if you have some queries feel free to ask them in comment section below.
