A Treasure Trove of Peace and Quietness!
Being a photographer by profession and a traveler by heart, I love to explore different places. Capturing some moments and living in the moment is what I do. A place flanked by Aravalli Hills under the bright blue sky. It is 17 kilometers away from the main city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. Far from all the city’s monotony, this place will help you relax your mind and refresh your mood.
Since 2001, all the people visiting the Kanota Dam have witnessed beautiful mornings and pleasant evenings. The best part is the Kanota Dam is abundant with water throughout the year. Starting your day with a cup of coffee, you can enjoy different types of birds flying over the water and spend your night with your favorite person/people while making new memories for life.
Kanota dam was initially built for irrigating the Dhundh River basin but soon it was popular among people. You can enjoy pacifying and fun activities like boating, cycle tour, bike tour, and fishing here with your friends or even alone. You can stay in various resorts near the dam and enjoy your vacations.
This place is a perfect blend of nature and its beauty. It is one of the most ideal places for all the people who wish to have breaks from their regular life very often.
So if you've been thinking about your post-pandemic plans, be it a picnic or a romantic date, Kanota Dam can be your place.
